I guess we have some catching up to do! I definitely have not been updating this little blog for over a year, the fastest year ever to say the least. I dated Mario for a year and a half before we got engaged in September and married in January. In a year and a half you learn a lot about a person, you go through a lot of things with them too. The good, the bad and the ugly, the ups and downs, the works if you will. Mario and I are definitely not perfect, and if anything he has taught me all that I'm not, and has pushed me out of my comfort zone to be a little better. I have learned countless things from him, from little facts about places or people, to how to be a selfless and passionate person. I can honestly say I am truly spoiled. He keeps me grounded, and he makes me laugh, there's nothing better than having a partner in crime with you all the time! We share the love for adventuring and being in new places and because of him I get to meet a lot of new people. He compliments me, and I compliment him. He's outgoing and adventurous, I keep him safe and he keeps me wild. If it weren't for him I would not have been on some of the crazy adventures we have been on in the past two years. That being said, he proposed to me on Mount Sawtelle one of the highest peaks in Idaho, we got the best view and some pretty sweet pictures. We got our engagements done in Island Park Idaho because that's one of our favorite places. He teases me because I'm afraid of bears in the forest, and I tease him because he's afraid of sharks in the ocean. But because we love each other we venture into the forest (his favorite place) and the ocean (my favorite place) anyway.
The first months of marriage were spent binge watching netflix, road trips every weekend, and long naps since we got married in the dead of winter. We also got into the habit of watching the Secret Life of Walter Mitty over and over again, and me falling in love with vampires for the first time because of Vampire Diaries ( I finally get that twilight craze!), and most recently listening to the Fault In Our Stars soundtrack over and over again, and going to the movie over and over again with someone who loves it just as much as I do.
Mario, my love, I can't wait for all of our adventures to come!
