hey. hello.how are ya. Its been a while. I thought I would share some great experiences that happened within the past 7 days. Let's start with the taxidermy adventure. I think I have always been afraid of stuffed animals. The real stuffed animals. There is just no way I can look into those poor animals eyes and not get freaked out. For some reason, that fear was somehow forgotten for some time and I thought I could make a stop at the local taxidermy museum, which happens to be by a class of mine. Needless to say my fear of animals (specifically of bears and wolves) sank back. I am never going in there. Especially not at night. I still don't understand why people choose to do that to animals. My main issue is the fear that they will all magically come to life. A Night in the Museum type thing. Betcha' can't look in that grizzlies face without feeling just a little creeped out.
The second best part of my week was when we were assigned to make a logo in my visual media class. my group was assigned to make one for a Fantasy pet store. Easy right? yeah, no. Props to all you graphic designers out there. That little unicorn took me about 6 hours to do. Six hours and sweat and tears. Well that and some beautiful "you're really weird " glances. After trying to think of some ideas for my logo, and sitting in a lab googling unicorns and fantasy creatures while wearing some nice thick frames specs, I think i caught the eye of a couple Zelda addicts. Anyways, I might be getting married soon.
The weekend was topped off with a GNO and a date night. Back to Back. Just like every weekend should start with watching How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days. After watching it two times in a row, you'd think a person would get sick of it. But i don't. Andie Anderson will forever be an idol to all of us free spirits. Last night's date went great, and i still suck at bowling.
