Confessions of a wannabe health nut

Does anyone else find it super hard to stay on a clean eating AND exercising regimen????
We started our new "lifestyle" last week and its been a doozy. Green smoothies and sweet potatoes and chicken have been our staple choice of foods. doesnt sound too bad until you realize you love cheese a little too much and have a random sweet tooth for oreo shakes. guys. it was hard. the whole one week of doing it really got to us and we ended up snapping and getting pizza and all things carb loaded.
I think after all that we did last week ive just come to accept balance is everything and I'll stick with portion control more so than completely depriving myself from food.
although im jealous of those that have complete self control over what they eat, I think at least I'm eating healthier things now that We did our little paleo for a week. I promise we will have more greens and fruits!
