As the weather has been declining especially here in Rexburg its only 16 right now and the high was 19. I was almost laughing as I typed that, it's comical how bitterly cold it can get here!
Now that winter is getting closer our wardrobes need some revamping.
I love fall/winter outfits, all the layering and scarves and hats are my favorite!
I feel like reinventing your wardrobe can be super easy if you buy just a couple of statement pieces that are staples for fall going into winter.
1. I love urban's scarves and buy several once they stock up on them. They are the softest and I find they have the most variety. A scarf is such an easy way to change the look of your outfit + they keep you super warm.
2. Wide brim hats are so sophisticated and just like a scarf can take your look to a whole new level, especially combined with some cute booties Target has some really cute ones that are affordable while looking high end.
3. Recently I found my dream leather leggings at downeast outfitters. They are originally from anthropologie but last season's so I got them for a crazy good deal. These leather leggings are leather paneled, so the back is a thick legging-like material. It works well because they don't look too overwhelming but still do the trick. I'm obsessed with them!
4. I don't know about everyone else but my skin gets so dry in the bitter idaho winters. The winters are very dry here so I have to keep hydrated or my hands and lips will crack. the baby lips chapstick is so hydrating its unbelievable. I  have tried so many and this is my new favorite. Keeps your lips nice and moist and you can choose to get one with a tint of color.
5. The Watt's up highlighter from benefit is SO GOOD. I swear by this one and the NARS copacabana  illuminator. Like i said, winters can be so hard on my skin and this highlighter keeps me looking dewy and fresh. I wear mine on the top of my cheekbones and the inner corner of my eyes, and its an instant pick me up.
