My favorite time of the month is here and I am so happy it is! I love summer and the long warm nights but there is something so beautiful about the crisp fall days and the beginning of the holiday anticipation. Our adventuring hasn't stopped quite yet, looks like all that summer travelling really didn't really tire us that much since we have been on the go ever since. We've spent weekends at the cabin with family, a weekend in Utah celebrating Ari's 21st. and a weekend in Salt Lake for General Conference. 

First off, Ari's 21st birthday was so hilariously fun, and definitely something we will all remember forever. We went down to Logan and met up with the sibs, and Ari's birthday wish was to go backpacking. We all came prepared, or so we thought haha. The forecast was 100% rain alllll day.

Although it didn't worry Ari one bit. We all went on a 5 mile hike in to our campground in the pouring rain. turned out all of our waterproof gear was definitely not waterproof. We were soaked and so wet, and went to be at 9:30. hahah. Sophie and Derek's tent drenched in water by the morning and Mario and I did not have any dry clothes. Cees and Madison didn't even stay in their tent because it was drenched. Somehow the bday girl managed to stay dry throughout the night. We hiked out and luckily it was not raining, and hung out back in logan for a while until we all headed back to our own little homes. I love adventuring with the fam! We are so lucky to have each other to go on adventures with. 

General conference this week was so good. I feel like it's one of the happiest times of the year. I love seeing people get together from all over the world to listen to our prophet's voice. Temple square is a heaven on earth for me, it never gets old. The weather was gorgeous, after a chilly week it was a blessing that it got so nice. Some of my favorite memories are with my best friend Dany Jo, and some of my favorite memories are with my family at general conference. Since all the guys are at priesthood meeting saturday night the girls go out to city creek and hang out in salt lake for a couple hours. I loved that mine and Dany's families are so close that we have created years and years of memories going down to temple square conference weekend. We also got to stay with Cees and Madison in their little home down in provo, so fun to be with so many loved ones this past weekend.
